Games: Glizda
  • Glizda is the latest game that I have completed. It's a nibbles clone but with more emphasis on puzzle solving. It has a lot of special effects like moveable blocks, bombs, teleport and many more. There are five episodes you can play and each episod has 10 levles.
  • Level editor supplied with the game lets you do your own levels and episod editor is used to combine levels into episods (up to 100 levels can be stored in one episod). If you create some nice levels or episods you can send them to me and I will add them to the game and you will be mentioned in the credits.
System Requirements: The game runs in DOS and if you're not using windows95/98 you would also need to download CWSDPMI. You need a computer with about 4MB of RAM and capable of running SVGA 640x480 with 256 colors.
For Developers: The game was done using DJGPP, Allegro and DEGUI. You can obtain a full source code. It also includes a modified version of DEGUI.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game of yours some years ago on a Pentium II computer running Windows 98. Great sound effects, animation, and gameplay. I now have a Pentium III computer with Windows XP. The Title Screen looks pixelated and shredded, and all I can do is hit Escape to exit. Tried playing around with the program's properties of execution, but to no avail. Oh well, the game was always free anyways, given to us at your expense. I still have fond memories of it. Especially funny when you got the worm a mile long, took the wrong turn and had him chomp his own tail. Thanks.
